Flying Books + DIY Skirt

DIY Skirt, Vintage Jacket and Louis Vuitton Bag

When I first set my eyes on this skirt I knew I had to have it, besides the fact that it was huge and very long (midi skirts are not for me!) I loved the pattern, so I decided to make a simple DIY for this one!

Its quite simple, I chopped almost half of the skirt off, and pulled in on both sides of the waist, kind of 2 fingers on each side...and voila a new Flying Books Skirt!!!
This is exactly what I love about vintage pieces, the fact that it is timeless, and that you can make it your own style, plus the patterns are the best, right!?
